I wanted to try my hand at making portable design boards. I followed Lori Holt's tutorial here but ran out of glue for my gun after two. I'm thinking I might swap out and make a different binding...something that contrast more might be nice...

I've made about a dozen of these boards and find them so useful!!! They make great gifts for quilt friends, too!!! Rather than swapping out the binding, I recommend to just make more and use colorful binding the next time around. Live & learn!
That's an interesting project and should be useful as well!
