WIP Wednesday 7.28.2021

Today is binding day... I machine sew the binding to the front then turn to the back and machine sew that. I've been sewing bindings this way for quite a few years now. When I was making children's quilts with the Oconomowoc Quilt guild, this was the desired way to bind. As it is more durable through the wash then my hand stitching. Plus not only is it faster but also easier on the arthritis.

Love that close-up of the turtle fabric! Are you good at getting your binding stitching from the back to go in the ditch on the front?
